Current-voltage characteristic and power of a PEM fuel cell with ADM3 Principle In a PEM fuel cell, hydrogen and oxygen react to form water and electrical energy is generated. The electrical power depends on the size of the load resistance. This fuel cell can be supplied with oxygen as well as with air. The characteristic curves of both operating modes are compared.
