The heat effect of electric current with Cobra SMARTsense

Principle

The students examine the behaviour of a thin, conductive wire in an electric circuit, observe that the wire heats up due to the current flow and draw the conclusion that electric current can be used for heating, but also that heating is an undesired secondary effect of electric conductors.
