Electrically heated furnace in crossshaped vacuum housing with DIN 40 KFand DIN 25 KF connections.The furnace consists of a closedmetal container equipped with a slitshaped aperture. The atom beam isemitted out of this aperture.The thick container walls ensure thatonly small fluctuations intemperature and atom beam intensitycan be observed.Due to the construction of theheating the aperture is free ofmaterial sticking.The temperature measurement up to170°C is done by an Iron-Konstantan(Fe-CuNi) thermocouple.The furnace is equipped with a longscrew inline with the beam direction.After removal this screw allows anoptical alignment of the furnace.The furnace is equipped with twocables with 4 mm plugs for thethermocouple and with 2 cables with4 mm plugs for the heating supply.Dimensions H × W × D (mm):116 × 103 × 75Mass: 700 g
