Includes a main workstation and sixteen individual components that allow students to set up nine different experiments without the need for additional tools.

  • Calibration of a Bourdon tube pressure gauge center of pressure on a partially and fully immersed plane.
  • Viscosity apparatus to demonstrate Stoke's law.
  • Use of different types of manometers (multi-tube manometer, U-tube manometer and inclined manometer).
  • Bernoulli's equation and use of a Venturi tube as a flow meter.
  • Pressure losses in bends, measurement and comparison of pressure losses of different bend geometries.
  • Characteristic curves of centrifugal pumps.
  • Experimental determination of the pressure/flow characteristics of a pump and determination of the overall efficiency of series pumps.
  • Experimental determination of the pressure/flow characteristics of 2 pumps connected in series.
  • Experimental determination of the pressure/flow characteristics of 2 pumps connected in parallel.
