Principle

By applying the laws of energy the students should determine the elastic energy of a helical spring as a function of its extension: WH = WS.

Through the evaluation of the measuring results in a diagram the students should recognize that the elastic energy of a helical spring is proportional to the square of its extension.

Benefits

  • Real stand material for an esecially stable and safe setup
  • Student-suitable experiment descriptions with reports available
