Principle
The students examine the behaviour of a current-carrying conductor that is wound around an iron core (stainless-steel rod), observe that iron-containing objects are magnetically attracted by this set-up and also see that this behaviour is caused by the combination of a coil and iron core, since, separately, both parts exhibit no or only weak magnetic properties.Benefits
- Experiment guides are very easy to understand, especially for younger students
- Associated competences are directly linked to the experiments
- Curriculum compatible
- Fit for the future: implementation of tablets possible
