Principle
The students will observe the functional principle of a two-way switch in an electric circuit with two light bulbs in a parallel connection. Thereby they will determine that in both switch positions a current will flow, which is different to the behaviour of the on/off switch. Furthermore, they will think about the functionality of simple electric installations with two or more two-way switches that they know from their everyday life.
Benefits
- Experiment guides are very easy to understand, especially for younger students
- Associated competences are directly linked to the experiments
- Curriculum compatible
- Fit for the future: implementation of tablets possible
