Principle
The microscope has the task of magnifying a small object that is only barely visible to the eye. It consists of two converging lenses, the objective and the eyepiece. In order to be able to measure the magnification of the microscope, a "model eye" is also placed on the optical bench. It consists of a small screen, the "retina", and a 50 mm lens, the "eye lens". In the second experiment, the intermediate image is captured behind the lens and the magnification of the lens is measured.
