Principle
Light can be reflected by objects. The reflection thereby is a function of the nature of their surfaces.
Benefits
- minimal preparation time
- light-intense halogen lamp
- easy teaching by using the demo board for demonstration
- ideal complement to analog student experiments by directly comparable devices
Tasks
Produce a light beam that is several centimetres wide. Use wafers with different coloured surfaces and different degrees of roughness and a mirror to reflect the light beam. Observe the intensity and the path of the reflected light.
