Principle

The Celsius temperature scale relies on two fixpoints: The melting temperature of ice at 0 °C and the boiling temperature of water at 100 °C.

In this experiment the creation of a Celsius temperature scale shall be understood. Measurements are to be made with the self-calibrated Thermometer and compared to a digital thermometer.

Benefits

  • Optimised for demonstration experiments: Transformation from horizontal into vertical direction
  • Demonstrative measurement value indication using Cobra4 MobileLink2 with large-scale display
  • Secure fastening of burners and hot vessels
  • Glass equipment, liquid levels and flowing liquids can be observed easily on the plain background
