Principle

If tea or coffee are to hot, they can be cooled by adding cold water or milk, because, when two bodies with different tempearutes are brought together, they will gradually be equalized. In the case of liquids this equalization process can be accelerated by stirring. Water of different temperatures is used in this experiment. The mixing temperature which is reached depends on the amounts of water and their initial temperatures.

Benefits

  • Optimised for demonstration experiments: Transformation from horizontal into vertical direction
  • Demonstrative measurement value indication using Cobra4 MobileLink2 with large-scale display
  • Secure fastening of burners and hot vessels
  • Glass equipment, liquid levels and flowing liquids can be observed easily on the plain background
