Function and Applications
According to the Radiation Protection Ordinance (§ 65), radioactive preparations that exceed the exemption limit must be secured against access by unauthorised persons, i.e. they must be stored in a special cabinet with a safety lock and prescribed labelling ("radioactivity"). This steel cabinet for the theft-proof storage of radioactive preparations complies with these specifications and technical requirements of the Radiation Protection Ordinance (StrlSchV) and the guidelines for safety in teaching
