Function and Applications

The periodic table shows the most important data for each element in a clear and attractive design. The current version includes both the 2012 newly named elements flerovium (114) and livermorium(116) and the IUPAC recommended integrals for the relative standard atomic masses.

The following values are given for each element, where known:

• Oxidation numbers
• Electronegativity (according to Allred/Rochow)
• relative atomic mass
• Electron configuration
• Melting/boiling temperature
• Normal potential
• Radioactivity

In addition, states of aggregation, major and minor group elements, metals, non-metals, semi-metals and noble gases are identified by different colouring.
